Alex Wondergem

Alex’s position with the company is Client Support Analyst.

Alex joined Asia-Pacific Risk Management in February 2010. He has responsibility for supporting all areas pertaining to the retained client base and reports to the Risk Managers & Strategists.

Responsibilities include sourcing, inputting, integrating, monitoring and reporting multiple risk positions against policy hedging limits of the retained clients, to enable seamless strategic risk management advice to that client base.

Additionally, the delivery of tailored hedging recommendations to the client retained base and development of detailed Excel based worksheets of client risk exposures.

Alex closely liaises and communicates with client companies and produces client meeting chart packs of currencies, interest rates, commodity prices and leading economic indicators/drivers. Regular client performance benchmarks and reporting as well as assisting in the summary and distribution of monthly client reports and recommendations.

Alex is a Finance and Property graduate from the University of Auckland, graduating in 2009.

Tom Lawson

Tom’s position with the company is Economic Analyst. 

Tom joined Asia-Pacific Risk Management in January 2011.

His responsibilities include monitoring and analysis of leading
economic indicators/drivers, interpretation of bank’s economic
and financial market reports and maintaining financial
market and economic databases.

Additionally, he aids with research and investigation of client
and target companies’ financial/commodity market risks.
Tom is an Economics and Finance graduate from the
University of Otago, graduating in 2010.
